I currently have a fully paid resale flat which I took a grant for. Now I am thinking to apply for a new BTO, I know I can dispose the resale flat 6mths from key collection. I want to know the proceed of the payment of the resale levy and if I can still apply for a 90% HDB loan. Lastly, how the sales of the resale flat can process towards the BTO Lon payment.

Hi,

First, to apply for a BTO flat, you must have already meet the 5-year MOP of your current flat.

Next, as the BTO flat is considered a second subsidized housing, you will be required to pay a resale levy from the sale proceeds of your first subsidized flat. Should there be insufficient cash proceeds, you will need to top up the shortfall in Cash.
