I currently have a 4A and am intending to upgrade to a resale EA in Punggol. Can I proceed to buy the EA, renovate it and move into the unit before I put my current 4A for sale as I have sufficient funds to arrange for my purchase first?

Afternoon,

If you have sufficient cash and CPF at hand, and managed to get sufficient mortgage loan for the purchase, yes.

Alternatively, you can choose to look for your preferrred unit. At the moment you get the unit that you fancy, start to market your unit. As long as you managed to secure a buyer for your unit before the first appointment of your purchase unit, you will be able to get 80% loan, instead of 50%.
