Hi,
1) Under the HDB Act 1959 provides that any person who makes a false statement is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000/- or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, or to both
2) The above statement is listed in all the BTO and resale applications. You are encouraged to provide the most updated and correct information when doing any submission to the HDB.
3) You may appeal to HDB stating your reasons that you can't observe the wait-out period after selling the residential property in Malaysia.
4) The following conditions/situations are prioritized by the HDB to assess your case:
(a) Not having family support
(b) experiencing financial hardship
(c) Suffering from a severe medical condition
(d) Not having alternative housing/financial options, etc
with documentary proof.
5) If none of the above matches your case, then you will have to observe the wait-out period accordingly.
