I co-own a HDB unit with my father. I just moved overseas so the current occupants are my father and my siblings. I wish to buy a house overseas since I’m married now and in the process to get a PR. The HDB Unit is fully paid for and have fulfilled MOP.

Am I still eligible to co-own the hdb unit if I change my NRIC address to my overseas address?

If yes, then the next question is am I still able to buy an overseas home?

I am assuming that your household is a Singapore Citizen household so you will be eligible to purchase a residential property overseas given that you have fulfilled your MOP.

1) You are allowed to buy a private residential property overseas since already fulfilled the MOP.
2) I believed you don't have to change the address in your NRIC for living overseas.
3) It is advisable for you to double confirm this issue with the ICA.
