I bought my flat in 2009, but due to work have been living overseas and with approval from hdb, hav been subletting my flat.
Now, my contract hav been extended... And am contemplating either to buy a property overseas or invest in a 2nd property in singapore.
But then... I need to fulfill d mop....
I read leaving hdb vacant can result in penalties.,, true?
Then can i ask tt my retired parent in law stay in my flat while they rent out their own flat for incomes? (I don't collecting rental, or anything from them...)
Do I hav to add them as occupier?
Or die die, the owner must stay in the flat to fulfil the mop....?

just wondering if it is plausible that my parent in law stay in the flat.
While they stay in my flat, they rent out their flat which has hit MOP for income.
