I bought a resale HDB last year. It is still under MOP. I just got a new consulting job overseas and I will be working there for 10 months. HDB wont let me sublet because MOP and job is my choice. If I go overseas how will this impact the MOP? Does it matter if I come back for winter holidays?

I am Bryan from ERA. If your HDB is still within MOP period, you still can rent out your bedrooms and not the whole HDB.

Hi,

Under the MOP scheme, you may rent out rooms in your flat and concurrently keeps your MOP running.

We can advise you better and provide you assistance in your rental with more information from you. During your outstation period, we will be able to visit your house to ensure tenants and rented units are well maintained.
