Good morning Mr Kian,

You may need to fulfill 5 years MOP (Minimum Occupation Period) before you could purchase another private property after your purchase of resale HDB flat. Which is means, another 2.5 years. Do you mean ABSD (Additional Buyer Stamp Duty)? Yes, for property owners who owned more than 1 residential property in Singapore may subject for Additional Buyer Stamp Duty.

You have to fulfill your minimum occupation period of 5 years before being eligible to purchase a private property again.

You will be liable for ABSD if you decide to hold on to HDB and purchase a private property based on current regulations.
