I bought a hdb resale before aug 2010. As I am Malaysian, is there any restrictions from hdb for me to purchase a private property in malaysia? I did not take any hdb loan, grant. This is my 2nd yr of occupancy

Afternoon Low Huat,

Was your purchase done before 5th March? If it's purchased before that and you took a bank loan, you are eligible to purchase private property anywhere. If your purchase is after 5th March, you still got one more year to go, before you can purchase private property.
