I bought a HBD in 1998 under grant. I own this flat as I had already finish all the outstanding payment. Can I buy another HBD or condo under my name only ? My current HBD in under both my name & my husband name.

Afternoon Pauline,

Since you are married, you are only allowed to purchase another HDB unit with your spouse, provided you sell away your current HDB unit within 6 months from key collection. Alternatively, you can purchase private property under your own name. Being SC, you are not liable for ABSD, if this is your second property.
