If you like to purchase a resale HDB, you will have to dispose off both your HDB and private condo within 6 months from purchase completion date.

Hi Jason, in your case, you will have to sell off your condo unit should you decide to downgrade the current HDB unit.

Hi,

If you downgrade & purchase a resale HDB 4A, you will need to sell away both your 5I HDB property and also your private condo, within 6 months of key collection to your resale 4A property. Hence it may not be the best option for you.

Hi Jason,
I would not advise you this way as it means you have to sell off your condo if you buy a resale 4-Rm HDB.
If the condo you have purchased is for own stay, you can rent out your 5-Rm HDB. Use the rental amount for your condo installment. This would be a better way to go for, unless you have different opinions.
