I applied for a BTO flat in 2009 under the FIANCE/FIANCEE SCHEME. However, we are separated as of now. I would like to know if there are other ways other than to cancel the BTO FLAT that I have applied. Can I actually change the co-applicant of the BTO FLAT that I have applied to another person's name? Thank you in advance.

Evening,

As you have applied the BTO under fiance/fiancee scheme, hence you got priority selection compared to other applicant. To replace one of the applicant name with another will be subjected to HDB approval. You can give it a try but it might not be successful.

Based on experience, they may not allow the change of co-applicant name unless the reason is very compelling.
