Hi, once you are married, your husband will have to be included in the hdb, at least as an essential occupier.

If you are currently planning to go on a property journey selling/buying/renting/investing, I can be of assistance. Do feel free to reach out to me for more queries and assistance.

Has your partner enjoyed two times BTO already? It is best to check with HDB directly.

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 14 years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.

I am very active in the residential segment of Singapore real estate market, having transacted hundreds of deals from HDBs to private condominiums and landed properties in Singapore, and have handled many unique cases in sales and purchases as well as rental deals.

Over the years, I have also established a network reaching out to more than 9,400 expatriates, bringing my market presence to both in and outside of Singapore. This has created an additional exposure when I manage my client's portfolios, on top of the conventional on and offline platforms, where other estate agents are relying on. This has allowed me to consistently convert leads into results.

With an evolving market, where change is the only constant, I have also been investing in upgrading of my knowledge and skills sets to improve myself and meet the demands of current and future market.

We are offering our clients a complimentary first consultation without obligations (Absolutely FREE!). Schedule for your FREE session today!

Getting married before key collection for your BTO flat as a single mum generally won't cause any problems. Here's a breakdown:

Eligibility Remains: Your eligibility to own the BTO flat as a single parent shouldn't be affected by your marriage.
Ownership: You'll likely remain the sole owner of the flat unless you decide to include your spouse in the ownership during the completion process.
What to Consider:

Inform HDB: It's a good practice to inform HDB about your marriage before your key collection appointment. You can update your marital status through the HDB e-Services portal.
Spouse Eligibility: If you wish to include your spouse as a co-owner, they might need to meet certain eligibility criteria set by HDB. Check with HDB for details.
Financial Implications: Marriage might affect your CPF housing grant eligibility. Explore HDB's website or speak to an HDB officer for specifics.
Here are some resources that can help:

HDB website: The HDB website has a section on changes in circumstances after applying for a BTO flat: https://homes.hdb.gov.sg/
Contact HDB: HDB's e-Services portal or hotline can answer your questions and guide you through the process: https://www.hdb.gov.sg/
