Hi, there are slight difference between a new condo and a resale condo . Most 1st owner of a new property will fetch a higher return yield from rental but some resale property will be able to fetch the same yield as well . The most important is how much % yield are you looking from a return in the investment . The right location and price is an important issue . Do give me a call for an non obligation discussion .

Hi, asper your enquiry I gather that you are an investor, therefore the rental yield would be most important to you. Having said that , if it is a long term investment then capital appreciation would also be the next factor that you shud be checking up . Of course newer project the prices are higher compared to resale hence it depends on your budget that you are prepared to start with.

All of the above answers are true, so just find a correct investment project that has as high as possible yield and in good location. Do discount the rental yield now at 20% to 30% just in case the rental market drops in near future because we are at the peak of rental market now (although the rental rate has dropped slightly recently). Currently, I have a 2 bdrm unit at Rivergate 1044sqft abv #24 with an asking price of $1550psf (excellent choice of investment in premium district 9).
