These are actually legal questions that should be directed to your lawyer instead of a realtor.

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 15 years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.

I am very active in the residential segment of Singapore real estate market, having transacted hundreds of deals from HDBs to private condominiums and landed properties in Singapore, and have handled many unique cases in sales and purchases as well as rental deals.

Over the years, I have also established a network reaching out to more than 15,900 expatriates, bringing my market presence to both in and outside of Singapore. This has created an additional exposure when I manage my client's portfolios, on top of the conventional on and offline platforms, where other estate agents are relying on. This has allowed me to consistently convert leads into results.

With an evolving market, where change is the only constant, I have also been investing in upgrading of my knowledge and skills sets to improve myself and meet the demands of current and future market.

We are offering our clients a complimentary first consultation without obligations (Absolutely FREE!). Schedule for your FREE session today!

Hi,
Very sorry to hear about your current situation.

The final judgement will spell out what you can do and cannot do. So, you need to wait for it before you are legally allowed to take any action. Best not to complicate matters by acting before that.

Please contact me so that I can be of further assistance.
Cheers!

Good day to you.

You have purchased the unit under the single scheme, and HDB would have required you to include your spouse as an essential occupier after your marriage. This means that your spouse and children have the legal right to reside in the unit.

Divorces are officially finalized when you receive the Final Judgment. The Court Order will specify the judgment and any necessary actions. I suggest you wait for the Final Judgment to avoid getting caught up in any undesirable legal disputes.

Hi

This question will be better addressed by your lawyer, as it involves family law. Technically before the final judgement, the marriage is still considered valid and legal.

It is unlikely that you will be able to make such a move until the divorce proceedings are completed.

Nevertheless, it is good to start thinking ahead about how you may wish to handle your properties post-divorce.

Happy to have a further conversation if you need help with the planning. I have handled a several cases similar to yours.

Hi,

1) Guess you had posted a non-related question in this forum.
2) You should seek advice from a lawyer instead, and see what are the consequences of such action.
3) If you wish to know more, you may search using the keyword of women's chapter + eviction.

All The Best!!!

Hope the above answers your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

That’s a tough spot to be in. Since the flat is under HDB and your divorce is still in progress, the court usually has a say in who gets to stay in the property until things are finalised. Even though you’re the legal owner, if your spouse has care and custody of the kids, the court will likely prioritise housing stability for them.

So in short, you generally can’t just evict your spouse and children right now. You’ll need to wait for the divorce judgement, as it will include directions on the flat—whether to retain, transfer, or sell. If you try to force them out before that, it can backfire legally.

If you’re unsure of your exact rights at this stage, best to check directly with your lawyer handling the case, since every divorce settlement can differ. Read More
