I am the seller of a HDB. After agreeing the price with the buyer and that the buyer has accepted in the OTP. The agent will be doing the valuation of the flat. However, it has not been shared with the seller. I wonder what is the practice in the market? As the seller, i am still interested to know the valuation despite the sale.

Morning,

Being a DIY seller, I am sure you are aware that the buyer do not have any obligation in disclosing the valuation figures to you. In fact, some buyers might not even know the valuation figures as it's being handled by the lawyer or agent.

Hi,

As buyers are paying for the valuation report, they are not obliged to share with the sellers this information. Some may do so if the seller is willing to share in the costs, or out of goodwill. This practice is aligned with the private residential marker norms.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Warm Regards,

Hi, if you wish to know, then offered to pay $200 for the valuation report. I'm sure the buyer will be happy to let you have it by then.
