I am SPR for 8 years. My husband is holding employment pass. I am earning 2.8k monthly and my husband is 4.5k monthly. I want to buy HDB resale flat with my daughter PR. Will the bank consider family income for home loan or only my income. I have 60K CPF and 60K cash in hand. Will it enough to buy HDB flat?

Evening,

If your daughter is above age of 21, you can purchase resale unit with your daughter under public scheme. You will also need to include your spouse as essential occupier. As for the mortgage loan, bank is unlikely to include the income from your spouse hence it would be idea to work out on the financial aspect before leaping forward.

If yourself and your daughter fulfilled 3 year PR, you can buy a HDB together. As for the loan, bank can only base on your income. Assuming you are eligible for 30 years loan, the estimated loan amount will be around 200K. The type of flat within your budget will be 3 room flat.
