I am Spore PR and has property in Msia which I purchased 10 yrs ago. Under the new ruling, if I want to buy a resell HDB in Spore, do I need to dispose my Msia property? Am I eligible to buy HDB with my daughter who is only 8 yrs old? Thanks for your advice.

Hi Nicole,

Yes, under the new ruling, you need to dispose your Malaysia property regardless when you bought it.

Yes, you can buy HDB with you daughter provided she is SPR or Singapore Citizen, she will listed as occupier.

However, pls take note that you need to be a widow or divorcee in order to buy with your daughter. Else you need to buy with your husband, or need his approval to buy.
