I am single and turned 35 this year. Will be buying a 3 bedroom flat but need to rent it out as I will be studying overseas for 2 years. Will the chances of HDB allowing me to rent it out be high?

Morning,

If you are SC and having substantial income to get a mortgaga loan, you are allowed to purchase the resale HDB unit. As for the studies, it would be prudent to apply for the approval, when you have received all the necessary documents.
