Hi Irene,

You can purchase HDB flat provided you are age 35 and above.

There is no income ceiling for HDB resale flat if you are not taking any government grants or HDB loan. The income ceiling for government grants is 5k for single.

You are eligible to buy resales EC which has past 5 years MOP/TOP.

Being single with your income status, you are eligible to purchase resale unit if you are SC above age of 35. However, you are not eligible for any housing grant since you have exceeded the income ceiling for single. As for EC, you should be eligible for resale EC if you have sufficient CPF OA and carries good credit record.

Hi Irene

If your income is 10k or below, you are eligible to purchase resale EC. Currently, one of the attractively price EC will be at La Casa Condo at Woodlands area where a 2 bedroom is around 780k to 800k.

Dear Irene,

You can buy resale HDB if you are above 35 years old. Due to your income, you are only allowed to take bank loan without any grant. You have no restriction on the type of HDB that you can buy.

Regards to EC, you are only eligible to buy resale EC that are more than 5 years old.
