Nevertheless, do take note that should you still be based overseas and intend to rent out your HDB immediately after purchasing, you will need HDB to approve and chances for this to happen will be low. Only Singapore citizens who have fulfilled their Minimum Occupation Period are allowed to sublet their unit out.
