Hi Faudzi,

With the current ruling, for anyone who owns a private property (regardless of where) & wish to purchase a HDB Flat, he/she is required to dispose the Private Property within 6month.

With the current ruling, you will need to have your name removed from your Malaysia property, within 6 months from completion of your purchase.
As for the upgrading, it would be wiser to work out your financial status first, before going into it.
