Afternoon Skyhawk,

Under the current ruling, every SC can only purchase one HDB, under their name or as a family module.
Having your mum purchase one, it would depend on her age as she might not be able to utilise her CPF at all. Hence it's likely that her unit need to be paid by cash. You are not allowed to use your CPF for your mum's unit.
For you to purchase a unit, you can choose to sell away your existing unit and downgrade to a smaller unit. As to your purchase, it would be dependent on your financial prudency and detailed calculation, to make things work.

All the best

Hi Skyhawk,

Due to HDB restrictions, that cannot be done.

Cheers.
