I am married and have never own any property at all be it public or private. I am living in a private condominium which is owned by my husband who is a Singaporean. The house is solely under his name. Am I eligible to buy a HDB flat?

Morning Eunice,

Being married, your husband and you are considered as one entity. Hence if you choose to purchase a HDB unit, your husband will have to be the co-owner. This would also result in the requirement for your husband to sell away his condo.
