I am looking to sell my current HDB EM to move into a BTO within 6 months time. I am planning to use the sales proceeds for this current flat to pay the new BTO. I would like to look for a suitable property agent who has good track records and happy to go with 1% commission. Do apply if you're keen. Thank you!

No offense to you, but depending on the price range of your EM, the marketing costs involved in the assignment can be more than the 1% commission you are looking to give for a successful sale, as such, marketing campaign and efforts are likely to scale down which may affect the outreach and timeline involved in the entire process.

The same marketing efforts and campaign may yield significantly different results for the different units on sale. It also depends on the target price of the flat and it does look like there is a shorter timeline to achieve a smooth transition. With the current slower resale market, it may not be easy to find an EM buyer and more marketing resources could be required.

Do you mean you will be moving into the BTO unit soon and need to dispose the existing within 6 months? The current situation is turning the market into a buyer's market and will depend a lot on the market sentiment now. Other than that, we have to see the location of your unit.
