Hi,

Assuming a 80% loan of $2m, monthly mortgage should work to approx $6.9k / mth based on 1.5% pa interest rate, 30 year loan. Total stamp duties depend on the purchaser profile, and the normal approx 3% buyer stamp duty is payable by all, which means 69.6k in this case. Additional buyer stamp duties will apply if you are purchasing your 2nd property.

Hi,

Tabulation of stamp duty & monthly mortgage is as follow:

(1) BSD (Basic stamp duty) = $69,600
(2) Monthly mortgage (80% loan, 1.5%, 25 yrs to repay) = $7,999

Also need to take note of ABSD:
5% for PR,
15% for FR,
7% for SC (2nd property)

The amount of stamp duties to pay depends on your Citizenship status and how many properties you currently own.

The monthly mortgage will depend on how much loan you take, over how long a tenure. These figures, together with your monthly income, will be used for bank assessment as well.
