I am intending to buy a HDB resale flat, and my agent told me that I have to pay a 1% commission plus gst non nego. But I heard from my friends that agent commission is nego. Is it true?? Cause I am only thinking of paying 0.5%..

the serving agent will let his intention known to you.. there is not fixed commission rule.

Greetings Mr Ken,

Commissions are not fixed and are negiotiable. Currently, the norms are 1% for buyers of HDB resale flats.
