It is actually helpful to run through the various numbers like your outstanding loan as well as CPF utilised for the current 4 room flat plus the accrued interest, such that we will be able to work out the financial aspects of your purchase. In typical scenario where loan is not an issue for the purchase, you will need to set aside minimal 50% of your sales proceeds for the purchase if you are intending to take up a HDB loan for this purchase (subject to eligibility). For bank loan, the cash component required for the purchase will be minimally 5%.

The upfront cash required when making the offer will be $1,000 maximum and another maximum of $4,000 to exercise the Option To Purchase.
