I am enquiring on behalf of my family as follows,

My mother & my sister had applied for BTO at Kovan Wellspring under Multi-generation priority scheme (MGPS) & they have both successfully gotten a 4-room (sister & family) & a 3-room (mother and I) flats (TOP is about 1st Sept 2026). My brother (Glenn) who is currently single had his name included in my mother's 3-room BTO flat as the 2nd owner.

However, after much consideration, my brother Glenn has decided to withdraw his name as 2nd owner from this 3-room BTO flat as he may have plans to get married & apply for a bigger BTO flat with his future spouse. As such, I would like to know how he should go about this name withdrawal process & the timeline involved so they can make arrangements accordingly. Kindly advise & thank you in advance for your kind assistance & time.

Hi, the best way to go about this is to go to HDB and seek the officer assistance, to see if it is possible to change the owner to you so that it is still eligible for the house.
