I am currently staying with both my parents 4rm flat co owned by both of them. I am planning to buy a resale flat with my dad assuming he removed his name as co owner of the current house. Is it possible under the public scheme? Family nucleus i am currently under 35 look forwards to your answer!

Under normal circumstances, your Father will not be able to remove his name from the current house, and then purchase another flat with you while your Mother is still keeping the current house.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Unfortunately, your dad will not be able to remove his name from the house as under the current regulation only in special circumstances such as a divorce then HDB will allow one of the names to be removed.
