I am currently staying at Private Condo, i have a approve HDB rental out. in the event if my HDB block have been call for enbloc.

Question: do i have to stay the new flat for another 5 years then i can rent out ?

Yes you need to stay for a minimum 5years before renting out if you are opting for a new replacement flat.

Afternoon,

For your case, you might need to write into HDB and appeal for it. Under current ruling, private property owners are not allowed to apply for subsidized units within 30 months from the sales of their private property. Hence if you choose to accept the enbloc package, you will be applying for another subsidized unit. As for the rest of the story after getting the subsidized unit, you should be well informed of the requirement.
