Hi, both of you could go ahead to purchase a private property. And should you decide to buy a HDB flat instead, then your spouse would have to dispose off the overseas property.

Hi,

You can purchase both a resale HDB flat or a private condo.

Do take note that should you decide to purchase a resale HDB flat, your spouse would have to dispose off his/her interest in the overseas property latest within 6 months upon the HDB flat purchase.

If you decide to purchase a private property, there is no requirement to dispose off your existing properties.

2. For private property, your spouse does not need to sell Property Overseas
