I am a university student writing an article that recommends renting HDBs to foreigners (men, aged 25-35). What advice (on location, room sharing, price etc.) would you give about renting HDBs? Also, what is the advice for renting DBSS and ECs? Thank you in advance for the help! :)

Afternoon Anne,

As the lodging allowances for many expats have fallen, renting HDB units, EC and DBSS might be a good alternative. It's nearer to amenities, nicely sized and there are well renovated units too.
However, they need to understand the required, ruling and regulations to avoid the unwanted complications.
