You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB provided you can form a family nucleus with a Singaporean or SPR. If you own any private property be it in Singapore or overseas, you have to dispose its interest within 6 months from the resale completion date.

If you are single, you are not eligible to purchase resale HDB unit. If you are married with SPR or SC spouse, you can purchase the property but will be required to sell away your private property within 6 months from key collection date.
