Hi Mr Chung,
Thanks for your post in Propertyguru.
The great news is that if a household consisting of a SC and a SPR purchases a HDB, ABSD is not payable. So you do not need to pay ABSD for that HDB purchase. The thing to note here will there be Seller Stamp Duty for the property under your wife.
The fact that both of you wants to sell away both condos in order to purchase a HDB, are there any reasons behind that you can share? I am just thinking along the line that you may still want to invest in properties later and what will be the best way to go about doing it.
If you are fine with it, maybe we can meet up for a discussion. No worries as there are no obligations at all and we can just take it as a chat. I can take the opportunity to clear any doubts that you may have and also I can try to analyse the property market situations with you.
Over time, I have served quite a number of clients and I'm glad to say that many of them are now my friends. Some of them have also left testimonials for me. If you are available, maybe you can take a look at some of my testimonials on my website, www.jeffreyheng.com. I was also honoured to received the SAEA Best Client Service Silver Award last year during the National Real Estate Congress. I believe I will be able to provide some advice for you and hopefully provide the same level of service to you as well.
Looking forward to hear from you soon! Cheers!
Best Regards,
Jeffrey Heng
