Being a guarantor means they have to put their names into the property as well, which may or may not be able to help you to stretch to the maximum loan attainable.

Whether you can take a loan and how much, perhaps I can get my banking contacts to get in touch with you to clarify? They could recommend other ways based on your situation.

With your current status, you will not be able to obtain mortgage loan. To use your parents name as guarantors would mean that they have to be the owners of the unit as well.

Hi,

Previously, it could be done with parents being guarantor. But policies have changed and it is not allowed now. Your parents will have to be owners of the property.

But there is a way to get a bank mortgage loan even though you may not have been working in the past one year without having to add your parents' name as owners.
