Hi, as per the HDB website, If you and/ or any core applicants or core occupiers have taken 2 housing subsidies, you are not eligible to apply or be listed as a core occupier in a flat application to buy a flat from HDB[4] or resale PLH flat on the open market. Probably since you are listed as the owner and the two of them as essential occupier, the system did not manage to filter them out as 3rd timers.

Hi,

1) I believe you are buying a 3-room and a bigger flat.
2) For you to be eligible for that, your parents must be listed as essential occupiers and must not have enjoyed housing subsidies twice.
3) You are eligible to buy a 2-room flat with your parents because they won't need to be the essential occupier of the flat.
4) Now only the HDB is in the right position to answer your disappointment.
