Under current HDB ruling, you are to sell off your private property locally or overseas, within 6 months from key collection. Being retired, you need to consider issues on mortgages and ability of getting it. Unless you are assigned to work overseas, upon completion of transaction, you are required to fulfill 5 years Minimum Occupation Period before you are eligible to rent out the entire unit.

Without understanding your actual status, that's all I can advice for now.
