I am a Singaporean married to a foreigner. I am staying oversea but planning to purchase a house in Singapore. Can I buy a HDB flat just using my own name?

Morning Jasmine,

You are married in another country or locally? If you are above the age of 35, you can choose to purchase resale HDB unit under single scheme by having your spouse signature on the "consent to buy" form. Other factors would be your mortgage component as bank would require income documents, along with your credit record, prior to dishing mortgage loan to you.
