I am a Singaporean currently residing in HongKong. I plan to move back to Sin with my husband (from Hong Kong) next year. Can I start buying a HDB flat now? Will HDB allow me to buy when I am not contributing to CPF due to working in HK. How can I buy now?

Hi Sim,

Are you buying a new one or resale one?
Yes you can start buying now. However, there are some procedurial stuff that that require you to be physically present when you buy a HDB flat.

Want to email me to discuss a bit more?

Hi Sim,

Welcome back to motherland! Singapore govt welcome you back with open arms!!

Ok you need not to contribute CPF in order to buy HDB or PTE so long you have cash for downpayment. For HDB loan there are certain rulings such as income level when you going to work in S'pore and bank loan will be more relax and lower interest !

Pls contact me or email for more enquiries. And of course call me when you are back!!

Evening,

To purchase HDB unit, resale or new unit, you must fulfill the eligibility scheme. Being a Singaporean, your husband should be under social visit pass, PR or SC.
As long as you can provide the necessary documents to financing institute, for the processing of mortgage loan, and that you have enough cash, the CPF is not required.
You have to fulfill this above mentioned terms, before you can even start to consider the possible options.
