I am a Singaporean but my husband is not. I plan to move back to S'pore in mid July. I want to rent / buy a HDB flat at Toa Payoh. When must I begin my search? What is the best way to rent / buy since I am overseas now?

Evening Elaine,

Since you will be back in Singapore in July, I would advice that you start the hunting when both of you are back in Singapore.
Being a citizen, to buy a HDB flat with non citizen spouse, he must hold a long term social pass.
Alternatively, if you are about 35 of age, you can buy the u it under single scheme.
