I am a Singaporean been staying aboard for the last 11 years. Currently I don't have any property in Singapore . I have few questions to ask and hope that I could get some good news. 1. I have the plan to return back Singapore maybe in next 5 years time and have plan to buy a HDB. But I am not sure if I can own a new HDB because I am married but my wife is non Singaporean nor PR. We had our ROM in Singapore in year 2010 but we are both working in same company aboard . Can I buy a new HDB or EC? 2. Lets say I can't buy a new old I will go for a resale HDB but will plan to rent out whole unit at least for next 5 years till I return. I am looking for 4rm area north side say Buangkok ,sengkang .will this 2 area easy to rent out and how much I can look at ? 3 . For this 2 area what is the best price I am looking at? I heard that HDB price will go down . Is it a right time to buy or should I wait awhile? I have already send my loan request to 2 banks and waiting for their reply .

Morning Philip, If you are first time applicant, you can opt to purchase BTO or EC with your spouse under non-citizen spouse scheme. Since new unit selection can be done online and requires time to built, you might be back in SG when the keys are ready for collection. If you are looking for resale unit, I do have 4 room flat for sales at Buangkok, Blk 272A. As to whether the pricing for resale unit will drop drastically, I would say that Singapore government would not allow the property price to drop too much. Do feel free to contact me for further discussion. FYI Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More

You can buy a house with your wife. you can not rent out your unit unless prior written approval is gotten from HDB. Likely will be rejected. You need to fulfill MOP. if you need to know more contact me. Read More
