I am a Singaporean and planning to buy an HDB through the Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme. I understand that I would be the sole buyer and my spouse is the occupier. Does this mean that I own 100% of the HDB ownership?

Hi,

Yes, you're right. Loan assessment will only be under your name too.

Do take note that in future should you were to sell off the flat, your spouse will have to give his/her consent. Similarly, for your purchase now, he/she as the essential occupier has to consent with the purchase too.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
