I am a Singaporean and my wife is a foreigner. As we are under the non citizen scheme, she has to be put as the occupier when apply for a resale flat and hence her income cannot be used to apply for the HDB loan. Under just my salary, we cannot get a high loan from HDB and hence we have to fork out a huge amount of cash to purchase a flat. Is there any way to go about it?

Morning,

I'm afraid there is no way around it unless you are looking into private property. Alternatively, you can look at smaller unit that well within your budget.

Hi,

Unfortunately there isn't any other way other than cash for the place. You can use your CPF OA as well. Otherwise, probably will need to go for a smaller place so to be prudent in the planning. Thanks and hope to assist further.
