Hi,
If you are still legally married, you need to include your spouse in the application when you arrive back in SG. If you are legally separated, then, you do not need to and can apply on your own with your son as occupier.

Unfortunately no you have to include your legal spouse as an occupier to form the family nucleus to buy hdb. For private property no such eligibility condition required.

Your foreign spouse must form the family nucleus in order for you to purchase a HDB in Singapore, minimally as the essential occupier. This restriction does not apply for private residential properties.

Hi,

1) A married couple must apply together for buying HDB flat (BTO & resale), unless divorced.
2) If you wished to buy either BTO or resale HDB flat under the marital status.
3) Your spouse must have a valid LTVP/VP which already valid for 6 months before eligible to apply to buy.
4) You must be at least 35 years old and only eligible to buy a 2-room BTO/SBF under current marital status assuming no changes in your spouse residential status.
5) There are no restrictions on the type of flat if you are buying a resale flat.
