I am a SC engaged to a foreigner who intends to apply for PR soon. I currently own a HDB for more than 5 years, will we be allowed to keep the HDB if we buy a condo? Can we stay in the condo and rent out the HDB? Thanks.

Afternoon SPG,

As long as you have fulfilled the application minimum occupation period of your flat, you are absolutely eligible to purchase a private property.

Hope it helps!

Afternoon,

Since you have being staying your current unit for more than 5 years, you are eligible to apply for approval to rent out your unit. Being an SC, you are eligible to stay in the private property while renting your HDB unit out.
