Hi,

Single SPR can't purchase resale flat on her sole name, she has to buy with you the married spouse or with her own citizen parents.

Your Wife will not be able to purchase a HDB resale flat without including your name to the flat. She could however purchase a private residential property. On the other hand, your parents will be able to purchase a HDB resale flat jointly, without the need of your Wife's name.

Good afternoon Sir,

i am sorry to inform you that she is unable to purchase a HDB solely by herself or with your parents.

HDB requires a family nucleus in order to buy a HDB. As she is currently married, you have to buy it with her. If you proceed with purchase a resale HDB, you will have to sell off your private within 6 months from purchase completion.
