I am a PR planning to buy a resale EC 10+ years old. Do the new HDB rules related to renting apply even after 10+ years for a EC?

Hi money,

ECs that are 10 years and above are considered as private properties thus you are absolutely free to rent out your private property.

Yes you are permitted to rent out the unit as it is already considered privatised.
