2) Income level: => $14.5k
3) TDSR: $1,730,000
4) Age: unknown. Assume around 40.
A) Due to the residential status, you may consider resale EC or private only.
B) According to preliminarily TDSR assessment, your husband's income level is able to loan up to $1.7M. The other financial consideration is a 25% downpayment. As under the current MAS guideline, the maximum Loan-to-Value of property is up to 75% only.
Out of this 25%, 5% must be in cash.
C) ABSD incurred:
If using both names on the purchase property, you will be subject to 15% ABSD.
If using your name alone, ABSD will be 5%
If using your husband's name alone, ABSD will be 20%.
D) As elaborate in (C), you may buy under a single name only.
E) The last I would like to highlight is no matter how you distribute the number of shares in the property, the same ABSD rate applied.
