I am a PR and my wife is a SG citizen. I am currently on an oversea assignment with housing allowance, which exceeded S$8k after included the housing allowance. My basic salary (and other allowance) is below S$8k without the housing allowance.

We are paying Australia tax since my income is not earned in Singapore.

Could you advice if we are eligible to apply for HDB BTO flat?

Afternoon,

BTO and SBF are only available for SC and SC and SC and PR. The current income ceiling have being raised to $10k. All you are required is to submit your income documents to HDB and if they approve your HLE, you can get the chance for the selection.
