I am a HDB upgrader. Targeting a EC project TOP at 2018. My loan is only at 60% + downpayment 20% add up, i am still short for 20% Upon TOP if i cannot sell my HDB on time to offset the 20% what will happen? Can i negotiate with the developer that the remain 20% comes in after I sell my HDB since I need to sell HDB before buying EC?

Hi, it seems like you may not be financially equipped to purchase an EC at this moment. The financial planning that you have stated above is also not accurate to actual procedures. You do not need to sell your HDB before an EC purchase and you certainly will not be able to negotiate with developer for the shortfall 20% payment.
